Upmarket accommodation in Queenstown, NZ May 2009.?

Hi, Im looking for accommodation in Queenstown this May for myself and my boyfriend. We are willing to pay up to $250 NZD per night. We would prefer an apartment or condo with great views rather than just a plain hotel room.

$250 per night isn't going to get you a very upmarket place in Queenstown, only mid-range.
Suggest you google Queenstown Information or Destination Queenstown (also known as DQ).

A little drive away from Queenstown is Wanaka, where I stayed with my partner last year. We stayed at Wanaka springs lodge, the best place I have ever stayed. Lovely host couple, it is a B&B but you do not feel you are staying with someone. Each evening they host a little drinks and nibbles hour for all the guests (complimentary) before people leave to go for dinner. The views are spectacular. Slightly over your stated budget but more than worth it. Have a look at http://www.wanakasprings.com/
