Wanganui- a pleasent suprise?
Hey. The other day, my family and I decided to go to Wanganui for the day. I, hearing many awful things about the town, assumed that the main street would be full of graffiti, homeless people and gangs.
I was shocked when I arrived to find 'normal' looking people going about their daily business. The town was also quite beautiful.
Yes, the town would have its problems but which town doesn't?
What do you guys think of Wanganui? Personally I loved the place.
Isn't it funny how we only ever hear about the bad things. Bad news spreads like wild fire. Good news has no media value so you never hear about it.
Nothing wrong with Wanganui. It is not a place I would go for a holiday but there are many wonderful areas and things to do.
