Yes, you heard right. The trip is about 10 hours.
The major coach company is Newmans, and the main shuttle service is run by Atomic Shuttles.
You can google them both for full details, prices and bookings.
Other services also operate; Contiki, Magic, Naked and Kiwi Experience, but these may take a day or 3. |

What about a Contiki tour, (scenic southern) it takes a week but you get a good grounding of the south island and as you're on a coach with the same people the whole time you make friends too! |
