What's the best way to get from Christchurch to Dunedin, New Zealand?
I'm looking for ways to get from Christchurch Airport to anywhere in Dunedin without a car - are there any good trains/ buses/ flights? Who sells them? There's absolutely nothing on the web (well, nothing I could find at least...).
Thanks.
Intercity Coach is good and not very expensive. Can not recall off hand where it picks up so you may need to get into town first from the Airport. If you are feeling adventurous, you could hitchhike too, just be prepared to kick in a few dollars for gas if asked. You can also try calling some of the local car rental companies in Christchurch and see if they have any cars that need to be relocated to Dunedin (you drive it without pay but free rental).

There are buses, and a train - look for Intercity Buses and Transrail online.
