What are some photogenic areas around Auckland, New Zealand? |
Particularly to be photographed at dawn, but not specifically. Also, I'm not a tourist, I live in Auckland, so no, I do not want to photograph the sky tower.

Piha Beach is a famous icon to be photographed. The Waitakere Ranges overlooking Auckland City and the Native Bush and Beaches would be awesome. One Tree Hill or Cornwall Park from the top of the Volcano or the Top of Mt Eden, or what about from Mission Bay Beach looking out to Ranitoto island...I hope you find the perfect sunrise! :) |

Waitakere ranges, Piha (of course), Devonport, The city waterfront.. Whip over to Rangitoto.. OoOoo or Kawau Island.. Its primo over there.. OK so Rangi Is and Kawau aren't exactly IN Auckland.. So sue me :P |
