riccarton has several hair salons....The Riccarton Mall ( or Westfield mall as its known now) has several hair places as well as a couple along the adjacent Riccarton Road.
GAP does not live in NZ....or at least it MAY possibly exist in Auckland....but I doubt that...
THere is a place in Horby ( suburb of Chrsitchurch) where there is a outlet mall with some good deals, but I am not sure why you would want to buy Esprit etc which are high end shops here when you can buy them all over the world.
We have a range of other shops that would do the same thing and as Christchurch is the largest city in the South Island it has more to offer than other places around.
I enjoy Christhchurch shopping compared to what I have here!
