What cities have multiple hospitals in New Zealand?

Hi everyone, Im a nursing student hoping and praying to be able to relocate to new zealand after school is finished and I get a couple years of exp in. I was doing a search all day on what area to live in so I just thought I would ask for your imput I will be working at a hospital, also I was from a small town and currently live in a big city which is not really all that great so a smaller kinda quiet town would be best. Thank You very much!

Auckland, which is NZ's biggest city, has the most hospitals.

I would suggest maybe Hamilton, or Christchurch. These are still considered 'cities' but are on a small scale and have a good feel about them. They also both have at least 2 hospitals.

and there is a huge shortage of nurses in New Zealand so you shouldn't have any trouble finding a position.

multiple hospitals? well....a lot of places do. I wouldn't recommend Auckland as there is a lot of traffic and takes ages to get anywhere. Christchurch is quite a good one, it has good public transport and a heap of different hospitals.

auckland and wellington

auckland is more like a city place
where as wellington well it does have a big city but it is more spread out were as auckland everything is pushed together.
