What would be the average 3bdr house prices there please?

They are all reasonable middle of the road suburbs.Prices on the Shore would range from 400,000 to the sky is the limit! There are cliff top and so quite a range.But plenty in the lower prices 400 - 600,000 dollars. Pakuranga probably likewise. Panmure is an area that is starting to come into its own probably quite mixed.Not so sure of prices here.I know it is considered a good location for investment.
Hope this helps.
I would also look at where you work, and the transport and ease of getting to work in the traffic - Onewa Rd is a particular nightmare, as is the Pakuranga highway.So try a run in the peak traffic both ways as that would affect my area choice quite a bit. |

also a very useful book to have is called 'where to live in auckland' which helped my family find the perfect area for us. you can buy it on amazon:

by the way, a good fairly central location is the eastern bays (mission bay, kohimarama, st heliers etc) - good schools, shops, beaches, transport etc and close to the city |
