What is Wanganui like to live in?
I'm currently in Palmerston North was offered a job over that why. I know the town has it's problems I hear but does any body have first-hand knowledge?
Awful. I don't know why people would want to live there. How ever if the job is good and you can live in a good area up the hill somewhere well then it could be ok . I wouldn't buy a home there unless you had really done your homework. I know someone that has their home for sale for nearly a year and it's a lovely unit but haven't been able to sell it. I recently walked the main city area and people looked poor and not so bright. Wardens walking around I actually spoke to a couple of wardens and they where lovely careing people . So it's touch and go what you make of the place. Good luck Lovely river there

Whanganui is like a lower-class Palmy.
I went to intermediate there. I reckon it's sort of like Fielding, smaller, poorer and less.
Cheers!
My family live in Wangas.....it's a little like Palmy but smaller & the shopping isnt as good. And yea, they have there fair trouble with gangs, just dont live in Castlecliff!!.
