What is an average annual income?

I am looking at jobs in New Zealand, and I don't know what is an average salary? How much is it to rent a house? And what is the general cost of living.

Are salaries in general higher in Australia? Is that just because of the exchange rate or the cost of living?

I work in marketing and have a fair amount of experience.

Hi there. I thought i better help you out seeing as you helped me out on my question! The average income in New Zealand is around $30, 000 whereas Australias is around $40, 000. Im not sure about rental prices in New Zealand but i would assume they are lower than Australia's which are ridiculously high at the moment (ofcourse this is largely dependent on which city you are looking at) . As for the cost of living, Australia is mildly cheaper due to our stronger economy. Hope this helped!
