I live in the best part of Auckland.... thousands of Km's away!!!!

I once lived in Waitakere for 9 months and it was pretty crap; being boring, muggy, covered in tagging, populated with cluless bogans, isolated by gridlock... etc, etc...

lol @ the first answer. Well I live in Titirangi. There's nothing wrong with any of the suburbs in Auckland, it's the people that make it crappy & what not. So if you're feeling crappy, then of course your suburb will be crappy. Enjoy life and it's surroundings, you only have one life to live, being angry at the world is not going to make you any younger to see an extra 50 years.

Waitakere, Auckland.
Although some people may not like it :) I do, if you live in the right places then its alright. Theres still tagging and 'gangstas', but if you just ignore them its very nice.
Apart from the traffic, its nice. But too many school kids, they're everywhere!
There are 6 schools within 10 min walking distance of each other! Plus another 2 twenty minutes down the road in one direction and another 1 20 minutes walk in the other direction - thats a lot of school kids!
But I still love it ;)

I used to live in 3 Kings for just over a year and what I loved most about it is that I new that as soon as I had finished the work I was doing there I got to go home to the South Island.

Karaka......the best part in Auckland....quiet, rural, no neighbours, and rich....so u dnt have to live nxt to freaks

I don't live in Auckland but I am always there staying with my cousin. She lives down the main street of Auckland (Queen Street) in an apartment. Worst idea ever. I can't sleep at night because there are noisy cars constantly driving past and its always so busy! I've rather live out West. West is Best!
