most are open till fairly early,having lived in dunedin and Auckland you will always find sumthing open.In Auckland i know of one that closes at 10am.

does vary from city, most if not all around auckland will close about 5-6am, especially on the weekend

till very late. 5am ish. some later tho.

it doesnt vary from city to city.

edit: no it doesnt bella... but of course smaller towns have bars that close earlier. thats the same anywhere in the world. duh

It varies, Auckland & Wellington have bars & clubs open all night - well till 4 - 5am anyway.

Depends where you live. Smaller regional towns will most likely have a 2am close. The larger cities will have later closing times of around 5am.
