Not only are there most definitely postcodes in New Zealand but from July they (and other requirements concerning the way the addresses are formatted) will be compulsory for those doing bulk mail if they want to get cheap rates.
Only problem is that some places do not have post codes listed, and enquiries to the 0800 number end up with you going round in circles, usually being directed to the website when the fact they are not there is the reason for your call!
