Where can I get a job in New Zealand, Nelson? |
I live in Nelson, New Zealand I have made up a CV and given to every shop in Richmond (my town) so thats about 48 CV's I've given to shops etc excluding womens outlets and I'm having no luck, I'm in need of work, can you guys help me out, or anyone living in Nelson, New Zealand point me in the right direction?

I'm 16 years of age and currently at school, and for those that will say "try supermarkets" yes, I have put my CV in supermarkets. |

I spent many years in Nelson and I have a son a year older than you. All his mates generally work at the supermarkets / The Warehouse / music shops etc...
A tip ** Don't just 'drop in' your CV - Ask to speak with the supervisor/assistant manager or the manger itself. Show them you are keen, and let them put a face to your CV, rather dropping it off, it'll just end up getting lost in a pile of paperwork.
Richmond is quite small and you are limited there, so think outside the square .... what about car yards (there used to be quite a few there) for weekend work (and after school) washing-cleaning and detailing cars ..?
