Great-Expectations
Well, i don't know the national average but economics teacher said there is no mininum pay for under 16's so it could range anywhere from $5-$20... You can check the supermarkets and mega shops like the warehouse. Don't know full policies but New World here accepts a lot of under 16's for about $9-$14 an hour.

Anywhere you want to work. Whether in be hospo (washing dishes, working in kitchens) or retail (shops, supermarkets, fast food places etc). Just head to the place you want to work and ask them for a job application form - try not to get ripped off pay wise. Good Luck!

The usual jobs for a 14 year old are delivering papers/advertising, supermarket checkout or in fast food.

Also fruit picking but it depends on the season of course.

Also you could go into business for yourself. For example if you know a lot about computers offer your services to friends and neighbours.
