Where in New Zealand would be the best to go for a week of adventure sports?

Im an Aussie...and when im a little older, im thinking about having just a full on week of adventure somehwere in New Zealand...around November-February.

Im talking about Bungee Jumping, White Water Rafting, Zorbing (that ride in the big ball), Mountain Biking, Jetboating...that kind of thing.

so even though I probably cant do this for at least another couple of years, where would be the best place in NZ to do this kind of thing? If I can, I would like to keep it to one region and somehwere that is nice and cheep too (or cheap as possible).

Hey there, Queenstown is the first place that jumps to mind with all the activities that you have listed here.
Queenstown is regarded as the adventure capital of NZ.
The down side of Queenstown is that it is a hell of a lot more expensive than any other regions in NZ, this is because of the high numbers of tourists going through there! It is a beautiful place very scenic, also has snowboarding, skiing unsure of Zorbing though. Also may have a fly by wire, pretty crazy ride, if you haven't seen it before you are strapped onto a mini rocket suspended by a wire and you fly round at great speeds.
The biggest bungee is also here, or was last time I heard (Called the Nevis about 134m high).
Check this site out to give you details of the area.

Maybe as a second choice I would give Taupo a go as it is probably a lot more cost effective. Not everything is as compact as in you may have to travel a bit to get to some of the attractions but there is some great activities to do here.

As for accomadation just do a bit of research prior to travel, in particular look at backpackers and camping grounds as these have cheap rooms and cabins usually. I think the last time I stayed at Taupo I found a cabin for $22PP per night for our own private cabin.

Good luck! I hope these give you a good point in the right direction

Queenstown, Rotorua or Taupo.
Google them and find out if they fit in with what you have in mind.
