Sorry for sounding harsh...your not American are you ?

Reason being is that I don't think they learn countries in school other than their own.

There is a 'big' world out there, not just USA sorry to burst your bubble

Cairns is in Queensland, which is in Australia.

Have you heard of Australia (ie not joking here as strange to say some people lead sheltered lives).

Queenstown is in the south island of New Zealand which is a country alongside of Australia.

Australia / NZ have a love/hate relationship with sports, mostly rugby and cricket. We have also be known to say that NZ is the 7th state of Australia (Joke).

Pls find attached the DFO website which may help you

http://www.dfo.com.au/cairns/

My suggestion would be if you consider travelling that you learn some of the countries of the world...travelling is great and you learn heaps!!

And what is this to do with New Zealand, please correct yourself in the future and select a more appropriate topic to put this in, also Cairns isn't in New Zealand, its in Queensland of Australia, North Queensland to be more precise. If it were in NZ, people in NZ would whinge and ***** about how hot the place was because its a very hot place and regarding where it is, check the dfo site out for more information which can be located in the source part where I am going to type it in :-). Anyways hope this helped and hope you have a great weekend too.

I had answered this question once, but the answer I gave is no longer visible.
Basically, if you ask a question about Australia, it stands to reason that Australians are more likely to be able to give the answer you need than New Zealanders could.
This question, about Australia, showed up in the Queenstown page, which is in a completely different country.
If I asked in a European context about St Petersburg, I sure as hell would not expect it to show on the Peterborough page.
