That sounds like spookers which is in karaka, auckland

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipw3Aqh6hqg

Using a team of scare-actors, this strictly R16 attraction, in the old psychiatric hospital at Karaka, is not for the faint hearted.

Made up of three separate attractions, including a Haunted House, The Freaky Forest of Fear and Corn Evil, Spookers has creative license to scare at an alarming level.

Enter the attraction’s Haunted House and prepare to be scared witless for 25-minutes as chainsaw wielding maniacs, blood curdling demons, zombies and a maniacal dentist with a penchant for pain run amuck.

Be warned, as you make your way through the blood-spattered two-level building with the aid of a guide, you’ll be harassed, and even poked, by an army of monsters wielding lethal props and deadly stares.

The evil inhabitants show no mercy. But, despite their crazed demeanor, a simple hand signal is all it takes to fend off the beasts.

The Freaky Forest of Fear is a shadowy enclave surrounding the Haunted House. Home to myriad ghoulish freaks, this real live forest is an eerie place full of rip-roaring screams, disturbing sights and oodles of horror.

Entry to Spookers Haunted House and Freaky Forest of Fear is restricted to people aged 16 years and older. These attractions are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 8pm, with the last entry at 10.30pm.

Corn Evil—a seasonal attraction only open for 13 weeks during the year—is a cornfield maze spanning approximately 12-acres, and will take approximately 45-minutes to complete. Again, this is a strictly R16 event.

Spookers also has something for children: the Haunted House is open every Saturday and children can navigate the house without the scary actors being present.
