Which City to live- Auckland or Wellington?
Hi, I am from India and married and we are planning to move to New Zealand, Would like to know which city is best to stay either Auckland or Wellington. Looking for the following qualities.

Less Traffic - Wellington BY FAR! Auckland's transport network is a joke.
God accommodation - Wellington
Safety - Wellington
Living cost factor - Wellington. Although the two of them are much higher than anywhere else.
If you're from India you'd probably like Wellington the most. Although Auckland has a large and established Hindustani community the locals aren't as open-minded. Be warned though Wellington's hilly (which many Indian people initially struggle with) and when the weather packs in it REALLY packs in.

Hi! I live in Wellington and i find it much better then Auckland (my opinion)
Its not as big and busy, there is less traffic by far. Commuting doesn't take long from most places town is about 20mins and during traffic about 30 mins max.
Its safe, there is good accommodation and plenty of it!
There is job availability but because of the reccession it is hard to find one...but that's the case anywhere.

Auckland isn't too bad, but the traffic is a joke. Wellington is a nice city. It's just a matter of choice.

I live in Auckland. its a great place. Wellington is smelly because I heard they don't have running toilets in the winter. They just have these toilets where you have to squat.
