Which NZ city is better for an international student?
I have admission offers from universities in Auckland and Dunedin, so I have to decide where to go. Which city offers better environment, better job prospects after graduation, and better overall experience for international students?
Auckland is the bigger and better city. but i enjoyed every part of NZ i visited when i was over there. My favorite town was Queenstown, but i dont think they have a university. im sure Auckland has the best opportunities because it is a bigger city

I hate to say this because I from the South Island, But Auckland is your best bet, for job prospects after you graduate, but if you're looking for a more relaxed atmosphere Dunedin is the place to go

I would have to say Auckland. Bigger city more opportunity. Loads of things to see and do and if you had to travel home in a hurry it's a lot more easier from Auckland Airport.
Dunedin is great too but when you graduated and on the job hunt you'd probably find yourself in Auckland.
Also loads of international students are in Auckland so you can always find a friend from home!

For an international student, i suggest auckland. Very multi-cultured and a bigger population, but it depends where you live because of the amout of crimes.. Auckland University if more famous than dunedin though. After graduating I am not very sure about Dunedin but auckland is a lot warmer XD and finding a job in auckland is easier.

For jobs after graduation Auckland is the best place to be, but Otago has a great student atmosphere.
