I am an Australian and as such we have a very fierce rivalry with New Zealand but I have to admit that Air New Zealand is an awesome airline in all the areas you stated above. The staff are super friendly and I would recommend them to anyone.

Unfortunately our national airline Qantas is on quite a downhill run at the moment. I have not heard of anyone travelling on it in the last few years that was 100% happy. Shame really because they were great and I love the flying kangaroo.

When we went last year we flew with Emirates and they were pretty good.

Where are you comming from? Air NZ are very good, they have more leg room and more choice of entertainment than Singapore Airlines, however if you are transiting through Singapore just go By Singapore Airlines
