It sure is! New Zealand will always be home for me, i've travelled around the US, UK and Europe and that was great but the best thing I got out of travelling out side of NZ is that NZ is the best! I love it and theres so much i still have to see of it. Cadbury chocolate in NZ beats any swiss, Belgium or other chocolate in the world too!!

I have holidayed there many times the people are friendly the food is great. You can walk in the bush and only get attacked by mosquito's not snakes like Aussie.

Racist against white people? Facist? Man, that is not how I would describe New Zealand. We have one of the most liberal governments in the world although it has its flaws - what government doesn't though!
I love NZ, I have lived here all my life with some short stints over seas. My partner is South African and he has never regretted the move here. I feel very lucky to live here not only is it beautiful but it is also relatively safe in comparison to other countries. My only complaint would be how isolated we are from the rest of the world - it is so expensive and such a mission to go somewhere like Europe for a holiday.

yeah i never been there but my friend say is nice and beautiful

I left NZ at 19 and moved to Australia. I lived in Dunedin where my Mum lives now after living in Perth, she is always raving about how great it is to be home!
I now live in the UK and believe me, NZ is so much nicer, safer and friendlier! Just a pity about the distance...there is so much more avaliable here in England, festivals, theatre, concerts, Europe, good money, etc..

One thing I know is, I will NOT be raising my children in England....I will return home and raise them as I was raised, in the countryside, fit and healthy and not sitting on my **** playing X-box all day cause the weather is crap or it's too dangerous to play outside in their own street!

"The land is quite lovely, shame about the government and the facist policies it persues. The country is actually quite racist against white people. The weather is nice though."

Ae? I think you've got the wrong country buddy! New Zealands a beautiful country. Sure, some people are racist, but against white people? Nobody has ever been racist to me. Except maybe some good humoured jokes about my Dutch origins. But as the other person, I wish I could say the same for my dark skinned friends. But as with many other things it is the minority ruining it for the majority. As a whole New Zealand is lovely. Combined with its small population and wide open spaces, the pace of life is extremely slow so the people are laid back and nice if you are nice to them!

I do!

I was born there and go back every year and it is one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

The people are NOT racist and are very friendly and laid back. The country is very safe and has so much to do.

I love the place and fuey do anyone who doesn't.

Thanks for the question =)

OMG, racist against white people??? Why is is that some people look at any efforts made to help minority groups as being 'against' the majority?

For the record, I am white and have NEVER experienced racism. I wish I could say the same for all of my Maori and Asian friends....

Having said that, I love New Zealand. It is my home. I spent a couple of years living in London which I loved, too, but when I got pregnant I came back here. It's a fantastic place to raise children. The scenery is beautiful. Most people are wonderful. The only disadvantage to living here - as has already been pointed out - is our isolation. But then, that in itself is an advantage sometimes.
