If you take him with you. They need electricians.
robbief1999
No, electricians are banned from New Zealand...just kidding. What kind of a question is that?

My god daughter and her husband who is an electrician have recently emigrated to australia qualifications not recognised had to take his qualifications again. Best bet is to contact australian embassy for all the details

You should be able to. I believe electricians are on the Job Shortage list at the moment. This list is available on the Immigration website. Also check with the ERWB (Electrical Registration Workers Board), as you may have to do a couple of short courses to become registered in New Zealand. Be aware that if you are on a work permit, and if you are asked to undertake a short course, you will have to pay the International students fee. This is a non-subdisied fee, whereas NZ students pay the domestic rate, in which the govt subdised's it.
Good luck!

new zeland and australia have an easy way for immigration but the age must be under 32 and both of you should be technician or an engineer
