Adreessing a letter to spain?
Does this address look adequate? Do I need to put more information on the letter?
(Name)
13001 Ave. La Mancha 6-5(degree sign)C
Ciudad Real (Ciudad Real)
Espana
this is what he put for his return address, so should i assume it will work?
Yes it is a perfectly normal address... The º (degree sign) is equivalent to the "th." after a number in english. It means fifth floor, door C.
However the address is not quite properly written out...
13001 is the area (provincial) zipcode.
It should be written as follows:
Name...
Ave. La Mancha 6, 5º C.
13001 Ciudad Real (Ciudad Real)
España
SUE
there should be a post code after the secod Ciudad Real. I'm pretty sure it will get there without. and that degree sign is an abbreviated O. Primero = 1º. quinto = 5º
