Advice on torremonlinos, costa del sol? |
Hey, we're a 24yr old couple thinking of going to torremonlinos in august. I have 2 questions really:
1. Does anyone know of any self-catering apartments we could stay in? Or any websites that would direct us to apartments? We've found it very difficult to find anything other than hotels or holiday homes!
2. Whats this resort like in general? Is it quiet, loud? Cheap/expensive? etc. Is it good for a young couple? Or would there be a better resort along the costa del sol that would suit us?

ownersdirect.com is a good site. we have a small bungalow for rent but its inland from torremolenos you can see that at casadelsun.co.uk by the way torremolenos is known as the gay capital of spain |

Holiday-Truths.com..........they have a lot of info about apartments in Arroyo de la Miel, Benalmadena..........I think this might be better than being stuck in the centre of Torremolinos, and they might do better offers, The apartments talked about are good, clean mostly privately owned, two minutes walk from centre of Arroyo, (up slight hill) OR few minutes walk to the beach (downhill), central for bus routes, train stations, supermarkets, taxis etc., does this help you. |

Self catering apartments are hard to locate i this area due to the massive all year round hotel population that hail from britain.
I would not say its the best location for a young couple but there are plenty of bars etc. just be aware it is like england with sun, overall if its cheap and you need a break it will fit the bill. |

I wold try www.holiday-rentals.co.uk - they have loads of Holiday Apartments.
I live locally - Torremolios is very much like Blackpool in the sun. If this is what you like fine. I would also suggest Fuengirola - its British on the front row, but it is also a lovely Spanish town when you get back a few roads.
Great beaches and plenty things to do. Torremolinos and Fuengirola are only about 8 miles apart.

i lived there for a few years. it is not a very nice,or safe place. if i was you i would opt for lanzarote |
