I am going to Salou for 10 days in August with my 17 year old son & his friend. I was in Salou 6 years ago & enjoyed it. Has anyone been to the above apartments before and what did you think? I have read very mixed reviews on various websites about them & would like some more opinions please. Thanks!
i go spain a lot on holiday and when these apartments came up as i was looking through the brochure with the travel agent she just shook her head. hope this helps

I have been to Salou several times over the past 15 years but when we went on September I was very disappointed, it has went downhill
in a lot of ways, the beach is still the same but the hotel we were in the Los Angelas was disgusting, the food was terrible and entertainment rubbish, I haven't been to those apartments but if you are looking for good entertainment the Rovers Return is good, Opposite our Hotel there is about 6 pubs and the noise is on till about 6am, you cant walk along the front especially at night with the african men selling cheap perfume and watches, the even ask you if you want to buy happy pills - Ecstasy- there was 4 people attacked when we were there and that was only 1 week in september. Hope I haven't put you off but I have been to all the holiday resorts in spain and would say Salou is the best but not now, I wont be going back. My partner and I are 48 +50, my daughter and kids were there the month beore us and loved it.
