I lived there for 5 years, owned a restaurant...bloody hard work. Could'nt trust anyone. Isolated at times. Freeezing in the winter. Not all it cracked out to be.

went to cap salou in april thought it was lovely went with kids - but spent many days in salou itself we had a fab time-the beach is nice and its chocka with shops etc- dont worry i think youll love it x |

I went a long time ago. Enjoyed the theme park and aqua park, also remember spending lots of time on beech. Can't remember much else! |

If you are not a party person don't despair,Salou as great transport links for sightseers the local bus service will get you all round the Costa Dorada for very Little money,so don't miss out on a trip to Barcelona, |

Mmmmmm - went last year, NOT great I'm afraid your better off taking the train to Barcelona and enjoying the region that way.
It seems to be just another British beer holiday, which is great if that's what you want, if your after culture and the like, I'm afraid you picked the wrong holiday.
Although we did hire a car, the ports are worth travelling around, especially if you make the effort with your Spanish |

Cambrils, is just a short bus ride down the coast, and is a great place to find a nice seafood restaurant and see live street entertainment.
Also take a day trip to Tarragona and Barcelona for a bit of Culture.
If you're more Family oriented, Port Aventura is a good day out, especially of you can find discounted tickets. |
