I will be renting a villa in Mojacar in July with my daughter and her partner and my ex. As this is my first visit to spain can anyone offer any useful information about Mojacar or the area. We will be driving from Alicante airport down.
I stayed in Mojacar last year for a few days. It's a fairly nice place by the sea, but the best part is the old town. There isn't much around Mojacar, but there are a couple of nice places to visit. Go to the village of Tabernas. That is where the spaghetti westerns were made like "The good the bad & the ugly". Then there is the village of Nijar, famous for it's baskets and rugs.
In Mojacar there are some good chiringuitos (bar / restaurants) on the beach. Enjoy.
