North of the island is cloudier and greener, the south is hot n sunny. I loved it there and even went back a 2nd time.

Yes it is nice, quiter than las Americas, but only the next resort along, and i have walked along coastal path from Adeje, through Americas to Los christianos, its a nice stroll if ur ok for walking, stop off for drinks and lunch. Yes recommend it all, u will like it |

Been there a few times. Good weather most of the time. Good beaches. Lots of night life and plenty of amazing scenery. Hire a car and travel round the island. Go up Tiede (highest spot in Spain)- the volcano area is something else. It's where they filmed Planet of the Apes years ago. Costa Adeje is a little out from the main tourist area but still very nice. Playa de Las Americas is the place with all the night life. I live in Spain - very hot here at present. |

we liked it so much in costa adeje we bought a time share there in Sunset Harbour. The weather,food ,day/night lift excellent. All the trips are worth going on .You may enjoy Loro Parque or an evening trip to the castle for 'middle ages' fun and jousting. If you use public transport,it's VERY cheap and plentiful -taxis are quite expensive in comparison but regular and punctual.
All you have to bewary of is the touts who promise free/cheap flights and holidays - tell them you don't use a credit card and you already own a holiday home - they'll leave you alone then.Enjoy!!
Just check that any lady you have with you hasn't got a plastic fastening on the back of her bikini - it will melt in the heat of the sun !! |

love it love it love it been twice costa adeje is great and the water park is near there go to las americas to in the evening loads of underground shops and great atmosphere!! we went on whale watch on the catamaran from porto colon first time but we got closer to the whales on the glass bottom boat from l;os cristianos which was cheaper, you may end up buying loads of sunglasses from the african guys if you cannot say noand you may well end up with your hair braided but its quite funny seeing all the dellboy's , lovely island can't wait to go back myself have a greeeeeat time |
