im going to santa ponsa in aug myself hubby and 2 teenagers this is my 3rd year in a row lots of scottish and irish pubs and lots of clubs for teenagers unless you are a raver then this place is great lots of differnet age groups and great bars to enjoy yourselves nothing like magaluf unless you want drunken youths running about so the person before who said its full of drunken brits is talking nonsense my son is 18 and my daughter 14 and they love it the beach is lovely and weather great every year i go and thats always aug so hope you enjoy yourselves if you do decide to book up remember everybody likes different places |

i loveeddd santa ponsa its a really nice area and be sure to visit pirates and son amar dinner shows, they are a truely amazing experence

As far as I remeber there is a beautiful beach at Santa Ponsa. I have good memories of my holiday there, but yes there are quite a few drunk Brits. Enjoy x |

What age group are you? I was there last year and it was fantastic but we are in the late 40+ age group, my niece and friends went and loved it they are 18+ It is mainly a family resort beautiful beaches and some karaokes. |

Me and my mate went there 2 years ago at Hotel mimosa.
As we were 32 and 34 didnt want to go down the Magaluf route, but there was really not that many bars in Santa Ponsa for a good night out, so we ended up going into Magaluf most nights. More of a family resort with restaurants.Nice beach though. |

This answer is not much use as far as info but lets me reminisce.
I went there in1970 when it was just being developed.
Me and my two mates were the original "Brit drunks".
We had too much to drink but were not rowdy or caused trouble.Just got quietly drunk.
We had a great time but spent most of our money in the first week and had to economise for our second week.
In those days we did not have credit/debit cards. All our money was in our back pockets! Sounds stupid now but it was a different time.
