Hi! Generally, there are 2 parts to Ibiza, the backpackers end...which i dont reccomend you go, its mainly for people wanting cheap accomodation who want to go everywhere but end up nowhere, and full of all your drug adicts, hardcore partiers etc, and then there's the more upmarket end which concerntrates on good service and excellent hotels which is beautiful! I recomend you go, dont be scared of what people tell you about the things that happen there. Yes, there are some strange things there but you will love it! It's truly an amazing place to go on holiday...and make sure you check out Cafe del Mar, and the club Amnesia, that place is truly amazing. =D |

If you like the ayia napa and crete scene then ibiza will be great for you. I been there twice. san antonio is great, bars, beach, water activities, clubs.
And the sunset at café del mar is the best Ive ever seen. get there at dusk and have a few drinks on the beach. then get ready and head out about midnight, bars start heating up then and clubs open about 2am. Partying goes on until 8-9 in the morn, just when the sun as risen again. There is more to ibiza than that but san antonio is great.
Yes of course people have bad experiences there. Especially when people get so drunk. I had my phone stolen (Or lost t! cant quiet remember!) but you do need to keep your wits about you where ever you go, stay with friends and don't get yourself in tricky situations just like you would nt back home really.
