No its really horrid we had an awful time in October. It was all industrialised and too 'English' if you know what I mean. It was like being in a dodgy bit of London back home. To cut our losses we ended up going to Barcelona for a few nights until we could get a transfer. Barcelona is a beautiful city with lots to offer, much better than Lloret De Mar.

Are you of the 18-30 persuasion? If so you will love it,drunken yobs,puke everywhere,mucky,noisy hotels(mainly due to british youth)fish and chips,full english breakfasts and red barrell beer.Forgot the sky tv for the footie fans blasting out(more beer and puke) and this was in the 70s.nothings changed i hear. |

Its a comlete dump,run down,couldnt find a decent retaurant.
if you like blackpool,then just go there on a sunny day instead.Food really cheap and dodgy.

Floret DE Mar is now very popular with the Brits, some would say its a sunny cheaper Blackpool. Bar ca being the second city in Spain has ever thing you could wish for,experience both that's my view . Enjoy your time in Spain. |

Oh my god i went there too many years ago to remember when i was 18, I liked it at the time as i was young and only wanted to get drunk and eat burgers and lie on beach, it is like Southend but in the sun, a shi*hole, depends what you are after though! |
