Although I have only used them for apartments on Mainland Spain, "holiday lettings" are really an excellent company to deal with. They advertise on behalf of the owners and give full and comprehensive details of the property and area, as well as photographs inside and out, prices, availability and contact information to put you in direct touch with the owner.
As you are booking late, you should also be able to negotiate with the owner on price, if there is not already a special offer available.

Yes I would recommend Holiday Lettings and also Owners Direct web site. You may find that a lot of owners do not have their property for let in January as generally demand is low but there will be some. Try Cala Dor in the south - very quiet at that time of the year, as is the rest of the island but some nice local restaurants open and you can always travel around if you have a car. |
