Well, I live in Gijon (Asturias) and speak English being Spanish.
Although we learn English at school, you'll find not many people actually speak it. In the other hand, I moved to Asturias some months ago and I didn't really manage to meet a lot of people here so... my advice is that, as long as you live know in Spain, try to learn Spanish and, by doing so, you'll meet a lot of people (even others who speak English).
The local and regional governments have "Spanish for foreigners" classes.
If, even so, you still want to speak in English, just post it in local newspaper or on the internet |

Yes, there are. Try going to the city's main places such as malls, parks, etc... any big main place and I guarantee you'll find english speakers. A lot of the people in the malls or stores know hoe to speak English because it is recomended to know how to speak at least some English in those types of places. I hope I helped you! |
