Are there any movies made when Franco ruled Spain?

I just saw a Spanish movie and that question came to mind.
Additional Details
Sue, Buñuel did not make movies in Spain when Franco ruled.

Yeah. Anything done by Buñuel would have been during his lifetime. Tons of stuff, to be sure!

Hundreds of movies were made in Spain when Franco ruled - until he died in 1975. Look into http://www.IMDB.com for lots of Spanish movies screened in Spain between 1936 and 1975, the years the dictator Francisco Franco ruled Spain. Not many of them were very good due to strict censorship rules, most of which being silly comedies and musicals.

Hundreds of movies were made during that era.
The dictator himself even wrote a script (with some help) for a movie named "Raza" premiered in 1941 and filled with fascist contents.
Of course there was a tough censorship that controlled every movie made or showed in Spain and nothing politically, culturally, sexually, socially "incorret" was allowed.
Even the american, english or french movies that were not "suitable" for spanish audiences were altered, cut or banned.
During 35 years!! The revolutionary 50's, 60's and 70's never happened in Spain.

By the way, Buñuel was spanish but he lived and made almost all his movies in Mexico or France because of the political situation caused by Franco.

All of this is part of the reasons because spanish people are still culturally and socially recovering and years behind the rest of Europe in that sense.

There were many movies made during the Franco regime and, although censorship was very strict, many managed to get around that. This site lists some of these movies: http://movies.nytimes.com/ref/movies/reviews/country/rev_country_spain/index.html

Franco actually invited Bunuel back to Spain to make movies. He subsequently made one movie 'Viridiana' which was promptly banned by the government, and Bunuel never went back again.

I, Clavdivs
A lot. Most of them were a crap.
