No.

You have to drive south.

The best are from Tarifa to Chiclana.

The beach to the West of Tarifa is famous for wind surfing.

There are some good ones between Sanlucar de Barrameda to El Puerto de Sta Maria, (under E in the phone book!) but avoid the outflow of the Guadalquiver and the Guadalete rivers! Ugh!

I recommend Trafalgar, La Barrosa (East of Chiclana), and Conil. La Regla in Chipiona is an OK town beach.
All are atlantic beaches so are colder than the Med.
Children should not, in my opinion, play on the beach at Sanlucar de Barrameda.the river is heavily polluted.

Note. Nany is being flattering about her province. (Claro que si!). The Cadiz beaches I mention are much better and cleaner than those in Malaga. If you like a concrete back-drop go to Malaga.

Seville is inland...
You have excellent beaches in 3 different provinces:
Huelva has beautiful beaches on the Atlantic coast...It's about a 75 minute drive directly southwest of Seville.
Cádiz, also on the Atlantic coast, has beautiful beaches too: In the area around Rota or Puerto de Santa María. Another good 90 minute drive, this one is directly south via Jeréz de la Frontera..
Málaga, (where I live) also has fantastic beaches anywhere from Estepona to the city of Málaga itself, these are on the Mediterranean coast, and are a bit further away: a two hour drive southeast of Seville via Antequera...
Take your pick!

Yes ! Caños de Meca (go to the southern most end of the town, between the rocks). And all surrounding towns up to Tarifa.

But 'near' is relative. It will still take you a one hour drive.

No, but there is a regular and fast train service to Puerto Santa Maria and there are some nice beaches not far from there.

Snot Me
Seville is too far inland for a beach
