There are no beaches in Madrid - it's not on the coast. If you want to check the coast for nude-designated beaches, try www.esplaya.com |

There are several... You will find some in/near Barcelona. Barcelonas Barceloneta Beach area and the small coastal towns.
Madrid is totally inland and has no real beaches.
In AndalucĂa you have two nudist beaches, one in Cabopino in Marbella, the other in Benalmádena Costa.
In Vera, AlmerĂa there is a nudist resort including hotel and beaches.
There are probaly more in other areas, but these are the ones I know of. |

Yes, though not right in either city. Madrid is completely landlocked, and the beach in Barcelona (IN Barça) is top optional, but not nude. Top optional is fairly common in Europe.
I understand, though, that there are LOTS of nude beaches. you may not have to go far from Barcelona to find one. |

There are many nude beaches along the coast of Spain. In Barcelona, there is a nude beach right in the city. Check out Mar Bella, you can get to it via the Barcelona Metro (subway) and there are restaurants right along the beach. One warning, this is not some out of the way place. There is a promenade right behhind the beach and you will see lots of people passing by. Still, doesn't seem to bother most of the beach users.
As other people mentioned, Madrid is in the middle of the country, so no luck there for beaches. |

I loved Spain for the nude beaches! Just drive along any quiet coastal road and look for cars parked where there are no beach signs... follow the trails to the water! We found nude beaches all along the south/southwestern shores... Even the main beaches - if you park towards the ends and walk away from the center of the beach - most of the time it was all nudist! The water and sun and being nude is FANTASTIC... not just A type people either... families, old folks, fat folks, skinny folks.... I don't go to nude beaches typically to gawk at chicks, but there are some AMAZING sites to see there... |
