Are there any states, providences,or cities in spain?

Pompal '09.
Spain has 17 regions (15 on the Mainland, the other 2 being the Balearic Islands and the Canary Islands). Each region has a capital city, for instance the region of Andalusia has Seville as it's capital.
There are, within the regions, 50 provinces, with each of these provinces also having a capital city. As an example, the capital city of Malaga province, in the region of Andalusia, is Malaga city.
7 of the regions have just one province whilst others consist of a number of provinces, for example Andalusia has 8 provinces.

Nope. no cities. No people. Just empty land for miles and miles.

Duh! Of course there are!

Many cities!

There have been people there for thousands of years! Civilized for over 2000, close to 3000 years!

No providences...whatever that might be, but there are provinces, roughly equivalent to counties in the US, and Regiones AutĂłnomas, which are roughly equivalent to US states.

I can't say what they are like in any other country...Don't know any other political divisions as well.

All 3, and more... but we call a State a Region (autonomous communities)

Providence is a is a region inside a state ?? Some places have that such as AndalucĂa, has AlmerĂa Sevilla... ect... my region doesn't have any

If your asking for Citites... we have little parts owned by the Governemnt called a municipality (localidad and municipio)

BJ
yes, we have it, not with that name but it's same meaning.

If you wanna to know more about spain I recommend you to visit this web: http://www.spain.info/TourSpain/?Language=en
This is the Official tourist web of spain, and there is a lot of information on it.

The Kingdom of Spain consists in Autonomous Regions, which are made out of one (Murcia, La Rioja) or more provinces. Besides of this exist twou autonomous cities (Ceuta and Melilla). In every province one city has the title of capital. Besides of this one there are other cities and villages in every province.
For sure, a look into Yahoo or Google will tell you more, if you put in "SPAIN"., in case you need further informations.

States of mind, GTA Vice cities, Providences and Rhode Islands.
