In Spain? Unfortunately not. This summer a group from my friends college in Puerto Rico went there and they were a bit upset about the costs of the clothes and souvenirs. Apparently it would be cheap to shop from high-end fashion there if you are considered what in america is 'high middle class'. I guess it's because of the exchange rates of the Euro. On the other hand my friend told me that there were some shops that had modest prices if you looked well in Barcelona but the fashion is a bit more 90's 'Grunge' look (that is if that's what your looking for). All in all I've heard from tourists that come from Spain that it is much cheaper in the States to shop for name brand fashions. From personal experience the best place to shop for clothes is Panama City, Panama.

No they're not cheaper in Spain, though that didn't really stop me from shopping. Hehehe.

My Spainish teacher came from Madrid and she was excited when she came to the U.S. because clothes were so much cheaper here

it depends where you go..
I found some stores in Madrid that were so cheap!! I could have gone nuts!! the stuff I bought were on promotion, you can also find incredible nice stuff but probably more expensive, its really in to the shop you go and the budget you have..

At the moment probably not, because the Euro-Dollar exchange rates are not good for a US buyer.
