Barcelona hotels? |
im looking for a hotel in barcelona spain that is close to a beach and really close to the airport. it has to be under 110 euro. please help! |

Hello,
as the airport is outside of Barcelona, direction south west of the city and close to the beach, you might want to check available hotels in the towns Gava or Castelldefels, in case you do not want to visit Barcelona itself.
If you just want a hotel close to the airport, no matter the surroundings, then you could check the link indicated below.
When you access their online booking engine, just type in "Barcelona", and when it shows the available hotels for the dates needed, refine your search with airport under "hotels close to" on the upper right side. |

Most visitors stay in or near the Ramblas or in the Gothic Quarter just to the east. This is a good base from where you can explore the city's sights by day including Gaudi's masterpiece, the unfinished Sagrada FamĂlia Cathedral, and Parc GĂĽell in the north. I just returned from Barcelona this past Sunday. If do a search in any travel web site's search engine on hotels, normally a bunch of sites pop up under La Ramblas, Gothic, or Marina.
I stayed at the Gran Marina which was about a 10 minute drive to/from the Airport and you can get some last minute deals there if there is no convention in town or cruise ships.
There were other other hotels near Barceloneta further down from the Gran Marina.
Barcelona was an one of the better towns to drive/walk or take advantage of the Barcelona Pass that gets you access to public transportation (Bus/Subway) around town.
