Best Place to put an internet cafe in Spain?

I am currently saving some £ to go and set up my business in Spain (internet cafe) but would like everyones opinion on the best place to put my Internet Cafe

Obviously it will have to be a a very touristy area, As i will also be offering international calls as well as internet, but also taking into consideration that it will have to be a place where the rent won't be too pricey!

Costa del Sol?..Mallorca?.....what does everyone think?

Salamanca could use one. There used to be several, but they closed up. There are now about 3 places in the city where a tourist can go use the internet. The one in the plaza mayor is hot and the machines are slow. The nice one is about a 10 minute walk from downtown. But they aren't cafes anymore--- that used to be nice.

I would think about a new business plan if I were you, Spain is awash with Internet cafes

i live in a small town 10 miles inland from malaga we have three we did have four but one closed. as said before do some re search as opening a busness in spain is not that simple you need a license and you should be prepared to wait anything up to four years to get one the red tape here is possably the worsts in the world

Here on the Costa del Sol there are Internet cafes everywhere. It may be the best place to open one, at a tourist resort but they are everywhere. Away from the coast is an option as it is less commercialised.
I have no idea where you are from, but the best idea is to come to Spain and do some research on your prospective business. Also look into the rules and regulations of setting up a business in Spain. The tax laws are different and the planning laws are complex to say the least.
The first thing you need to do before anything else is to get yourself a good lawyer who will guide you through the minefield.

Santiago de Compostela

Ayelle
Put one in either Salamanca, Granada, Seville, or Toledo.

I'm going to those places this summer and I wanna be able to check my e-mails!!! I'm also going to Madrid but I figure they already have them there.

Please open it by June! Lol

I didn't see many "cafés" in Spain, they mostly had internet centers, but not food or drinks. You could try San Sebastián, going with Jomomo, there, or Santander, lesser cities, with probably smaller rents, but enough tourists to want to use them, you would also get a lot of local traffic at any city that DIDN'T have a University, as the students have internet at the Universities.

Costa del Sol? Try one of the lesser known towns. Maybe Granada, or Ronda, too. Lots of tourist trade, not too many cafés. I think. I didn't see anything in Ronda.

Euskadi may be lacking in internet cafes.

Ni "Jomamo" naiz. Asko gustatzen zait hemen egon jende geheinez jatorra eta interesgarria direlako.

Hello.
I´m "Jomamo". I like it a lot here because most of the people are decent and interesting.
