You've said Small, so AlmeĂa in AlmerĂa provance, it is a small city with a Port Beach, but it is quite nice it remind me of Miami or something - look for photo's on the internet, the Sand is great and very clean there
but it's by-far not the best city in AndalucĂa but the best small city in my oponion |

My favourite 3 places in Andalucia,
1. Seville (vibrant big city)
2. Grenada (quaint, beautiful historic town)
3. Cadiz (beautiful seaside city) |

I love Granada, for the people, for the place, for the culture, for the food. Well you can see here:

Estepona. Its more of a large town, but it is really pretty. Estepona is renowned for its beaches. It has not become touristy yet, so it is still very spanish! A lovely quiet and relaxing town.Due to its natural environment, surrounded by the sea and Sierra Bermeja mountains, Estepona has a micro climate with over 325 days of sunshine per year.Estepona now has many interesting facets which make it a popular and contemporary all year round holiday destination including two Blue Flag beaches, a modern sports marina with many tapas bars and restaurants and a white-walled town offering shopping and picturesque squares.Gibraltar Airport is the nearest international airport serving Estepona. It is 45 km away and has direct flights to Madrid, London Gatwick, and London Luton. MĂĄlaga Airport is the next nearest international airport serving Estepona and is located approximately 80 km away. Estepona Port and Marina is a working fishing port offering restaurants and bars. The port features daily auctions for a wide variety of seafood.Estepona is not known for the "night club" culture found in some areas on the Costa del Sol, but does have a wide variety of restaurants & bars, ranging from local Spanish cuisine to most Mediterranean cuisines, also cooked fish of different forms, Italian and French. Many restaurants offer terraces allowing diners to eat outside during the late evening. Hope this helps! =] |

Ronda is probably the best small town to visit, especially if you explore the sierra and the white towns nearby.
SanlĂșcar de Barrameda is surprisingly unspoilt.
Sevilla and Cordoba are the most interesting big cities.
Cadiz. Well it was used as Havana in a James Bond movie because it is equally scruffy. Only a Gaditano could love it! |

Sevilla is the capital, and the largest city in the region. Granada is incredibly gorgeous! You can't miss with it!
Jerez de la Frontera! I have long wanted to go back and visit the bodegas...keep messing up the timing! D'oh!
For tiny cities, I'd recommend Arcos de la Frontera and Ronda for the best two. Ronda is perched on the top of this incredibly sheer cliff. Only one way in and out, along a fairly steep climb (you'll understand the defense system of the Middle Ages.) REALLY pretty bridge is the center and focal point of the town, some really neat Roman/Moorish attractions, and then there's this Inquisition/witchcraft museum that I've seen on tv, but never been to.
Arcos is really pretty, but we found it very difficult to drive in! |

It depends on what is for you a "small little city"... maybe Ronda, in Malaga province could cover your needs.
Something bigger, Cadiz is a beautiful and attractive city. |
