Yeah, dj hasn't written anything in Spanish, so, of course you wouldn't understand.
The two best hotels in Spain are the Ritz and the Hotel Metrópolis, in Madrid. I'm sure they both have pools. The Hotel Alfonso XIII in Sevilla, owned by the Westin Corp., last time I checked, has a pool (and is situated in the most romantic city!)
As for beachy places, I have no idea. Sorry, not my expertise, but if you do a hotel search, and put that you want a place with a pool/beach into the advanced search options, you ought to be able to locate something you'll like. Start by searching the city you are most interested in staying in, and then link to hotels in that city. |

The NH Calderon in Barcelona. Has a pool on the roof. and its about a minute away from the ramblas, but the beach takes about 15 minutes to get to. |

you have not mention which city or area you would like to visit in spain. If it is beach cities, Majorca is ideal island in Spain to spend summer holiday.
http://roomsnet.com/majorca_hotels/ this is the site I am using to book may trips, they have huge list of hotels in Majorca, and whole spain as well. I used there membership program as well. It gives me discounts in various ways, not only for bookings with them, for my photos also i collected some discounts.
just go through the site, you will like it.
happy vacation to spain |

Might help if you said where in Spain you'll be staying.
If you have a city/town/area in mind check out http://www.tripadvisor.com for traveller reviews and approximate prices of hotels. |

One thing you'll need to keep in mind is that you will probably need to book two rooms. Most hotels in Spain are either double or triple rooms, meaning rooms for two or three people. Personally, I'd recommend a hotel that is not near a beach, because there are many better things to do in Spain than to go to a beach.
Here are the hotels I stayed at when I went to Spain on a school trip:
TOLEDO http://www.socranet.com/hotelesmayoral/ingles/mayoral.htm - It was alright. Average hotel. Nothing special. Nothing to complain about. Nice terrace. We had a double room.
LISBON, Portugal http://www.santairialisbonhotel.com/?gclid=CKeW9eeiuJUCFRg6awodIWnjQw - I'd for sure recommend this one. Funny thing is that it has a really nice pool and jacuzzi, and it's near a beach, so it fits your criteria, but it's in Portugal. Very contemporary and cool. We had a double room.
SEVILLE http://www.hotelfernandoiii.com/ - This one was nice, clean. Has roof top pool. We had a double room. In fact, we always had a double room, so I'll stop mentioning that every time.
MÁLAGA http://www.a-andalucia.com/en/hotellloyd/index.htm - Ew. No. I wouldn't ever stay there again. It was very close to the beach and had an okay pool (We called it the frijole pool because it was shaped like a bean), but those rooms, yuck. Not worth it.
GRANADA http://www.hotelcarmen.com/granadahotel/esp/index.htm - This hotel was nice. Literally step outside the lobby doors and cross the street and you are at the entrance of El Corte Inglés. Has a roof top pool with amazing views. It was so beautiful up there. Also within about 200 M from Telepizza if you want a quick dinner.
MADRID http://www.hotel-convencion.com/ - Yeah it was alright. I'd stay there again. I never saw any pool myself, but it was a huge hotel (you will get lost) so it must have had one.
Hope this helps. If you want to just go to a beach, I wouldn't recommend Torremolinos. It was tacky tourist all the way. Topless Germans, old, loud Portuguese men with hairy beer bellies, and crazy Dutch soccer fans everywhere. I've only been to Spain once so I don't really have anywhere to recommend. Maybe somewhere else on the Costa del Sol or check out Costa Brava.
Have fun! :) |
