Best place for a family?

Majorca is very versatile.
Alcudia is very family friendly if you're on a budget, there are many self catering places to stay there all vary in quality.

Ibiza is worth a thought, there is only one small part of the island that can be described as "party central" so avoid San Antonio. Look at Santa Eulalia, Es Cana or Cala Llonga for the best deals- Playa den Bossa is also worth a look.

Menorca would also be good and most accomodation is pretty decent there. Son Bou is nice and Arenal D'en Castell too. I'd reccomend booking flights and accomodation seperatley

Greece... Mmm.. July will be absolutley roasting hot, the budget places will not be air conditioned, I would not reccommend Greece unless you have an apt with a pool and air conditioning- on a tight budget that might not be easy to find.

Why not look at Cyprus? Olympic Holidays will be your best bet- Makronnissos Village Nissi Bay near Ayia Napa- it's quiet, near the waterpark, beach has recently been refurbished and is on special offer with Olympic normaly at that time- it has air con too!

If it were me, I'd be looking also at Salou/La Pineda and Port Aventura- cheap, basic but fun with great beaches, lots to do and great weather!

I have heard that Belgium is a very nice place to visit and live in.

But if you want something for a vacation, Philippines my country is very nice. and cheap things there.

The streets of Barcelona are alive by day or night, providing the visitor with a safe place for strolling around, whether for shopping, eating or simply passing the time of day. There is also 1 mile long city beach with clean soft sand, ideal for sun bathing.

Madrid was beautiful when I was there in November..I heard Greece is just as beautiful...not sure of the other places. South Africa is gorgeous...maybe you can do a 2 for one...fly Iberia airlines and check out madrid for a day or 2, then do south africa...

I am from Mallorca and I also travelled to Ibiza and Greece. Greece is good if you can go with a guide, to see all the sites, and go to beautiful small islands. Ibiza is a party island, if you are going with children, stay away. Everybody is drunk and 18 years old. Mallorca is what I would suggest if you plan on staying in a resort, staying on the beach, little walking through the towns, that kind of stuff. well, enjoy!
