The concept is the same between the two countries. In fact, many matadors from Spain go to do fights in Mexico and latin america during the "off" season (Spain April-October; Latin America Nov - March). Both kill the bulls in the ring, whereas in Portugal it is done in the corral afterwards. This is because a fighting bull cannot be fought more than once....very dangerous. |

I've been to many bullfights in both Spain (Madrid) and in Mexico. There is absolutely no difference between them. The only difference is in the people. I believe the Spanish are very respectful and passionate about the sport and revere the matadors more than Mexico. |

Of course are differences, betwenn the opinion ppl have of this art... Bullfighting born in Spain, here ppl do properly, in France more or less, but in Mexico they dont know, and even worse... they let kids under the legal age act in the bullfight. |
