Buses from alicante to barcelona?
which bus service/company can i use to get from alicante to barcelona in one day. i have seen one that takes about 8hrs which is great coz im travelling around and want to see plenty of sights. can anybody help?? please
There are direct buses from Alicante to Barcelona that take about 8 and a half hours, cost about 40 euros. They stop in a couple of places for a toilet break, and to stretch your legs, but you won't really have time for sight-seeing before your coach sets off again. If this is important to you, you could get a single half way, then another single later on.
The coach company is Alsa.
More details available on the Movelia bus site.

yes Alsa is the company who operates most coaches in Spain and Catalunya. Remember that Barcelona is the capital of Cataonia (english)region , they speak Catalna and also Spanish. Be friendly and say a few words in Catalan, people like this.
Hola, is the same, and Adeu is Goodbye.
Bon dia is Good Morning.
cheers,
adam from catalunya.
