By road how long will it take to get to Valencia from Alicante in Spain?

Im off to the Moto GP in Valencia in November, but there are no direct flights. So Im using my staff discount and flying to Alicante and was wondering how long it would take by car to Valencia?

About 2 hours by the motorway which is normally quiet as it is a toll road, but add another hour for the GP traffic!! and maybe another hour or 2 around the circuit!!!!
Enjoy, you lucky b'statd!!!

From Alicante on the toll road it's around 2 hours depending on traffic. If you are going to a big event then I'd give more time for traffic, and finding the venue etc.
You can log onto the road traffic website and download a road map which will give you exact details, times and directions.
By the way another safety tip, as there has been publicity regarding robberies on the road, never stop if anyone flags you down for whatever reason (they may try to indicate there is something wrong with your car) drive to the next petrol station etc.
Keep car doors locked whilst driving in cities etc.
this is not to put you off, but there has been publicity that some thieves specifically target hire cars, just use your head like you would in the UK.
Have a great time.

It normally takes about 90 minutes, but this weekend is a bank holiday so could take a bit longer. Its straightfowrad, just get on the AP7 motorway and follow the signs for Valencia, you will need to pay tolls, so make sure you have change, and be very careful if you stop at any services, robberies are very common there, distraction and the like....have fun!

Yes, about 90 minutes or so. Head up the AP7 until you come to the A3 Junction for Madrid. Go along the A3 until the Cheste turnoff, it will all be signposted for the Moto gp. Make sure you allow plenty of time to get there as the traffic jams are horrendous with thousands trying to get there at the same time.

On the Drive Alive.co.uk web site a drive from Alicante to Valencia will take 01hr 53 minutes on motorways. Distance 111 mi of which 104 mi is on the motorway. There is a Toll cost of 12.95 Eur. This sight also gives detailed directions.

From Valencia to Alicante there are166 km. So, aproximately 2 hours driving, depending on the speed.

All depends how fast you drive, remember it is better to arrive alive than not to arrive at-all.

I live in Alicante, and it will take one hour from Alicante to Valencia on the motorway. (A7 Which is a toll road.)
