Calpe spain?

has any one been to calpe for the new year,at the rubino,any one knows what the weather like

Live just up the road from Calpe. As the others have said, around year end the weather can be quite nice during the day but it will be cold at night. You will notice the temp drop quite quickly from about 4 or 4.30 pm.

But please don't think that it's always nice during the day. For example Last Xmas/New Year, we had three weeks of very dark skies and lots and lots of rain in December. Then the week between Xmas and New Year it picked and we had a great News Years day followed by a month of really warm weather. So you also have to be lucky, as it could have been the other way around. You just never know.

But every year we do get nice days and nice periods throughout the winter.

Mainland Spain isn't really a Winter Sun destination, but the Canary Islands are. That's why you rarely see Spain in Winter Sun holiday brochures, only the Canaries.

it is warm in the day but it gets cold at night. its a bit like a cool summer in england.

think the weather should be mild but at night it can feel very cold as all the marble floors dont get a chance to absorb heat and would therefore say take warm clothes especially for the evening, daytime if the sun is out can be like a warm summer day in uk, its v useful to take things that u can layer on.

The weather is generally beautiful in Calpe at this time of the year, with temperatures in the low to mid-seventies.
