Having lived in Lanzarote for almost 25 years we found Papagayo Arena worked well for us as a family wishing to have a short break. It is great for all age groups and there is plenty to do should the sun decide not to shine! Set on the outskirts of Playa Blanca, this is an all inclusive hotel - excellent value for money. Hope that this is of help! (I think the Natural Palace is a bit regimental and not too friendly!) |

Lot's of great places to visit in Lanzarote, Playa Blanca is lovely.
Make sure you go to Papagayo beach it's amazing and not far, you will need to ask where it is or you might miss it!
You could go on a day trip to Fuerteventura since you are right near the port.
Have added a website for you to look at, loads of things to do and places to go.
Personally like Papagayo beach, Puerto Calero, lots of places in the north (Orzola, Haria.....), Teguise, Arrecife........
It's a great island, I used to live there. |

There are some really great places to stay in Playa Blanca now as the resort grows. I haven't stayed there for a few years now, however the Princesa Yaiza Suites look glorious and I have heard a lot of good reports about them - they are also in a fab location.
I have stayed at the Lanzarote Princess twice. It is a super hotel also- although the last time I stayed there it needed a little TLC - however the rooms are clean and spacious and very comfortable. The pool very spacious and relaxing surrounds.
