If you want a view try the restaurant at the top of El Corte Ingles in front of the Plaza Cataluña. If you want good food go to La Poma in la Rambla. |

(I have family in Barcelona, they took me there.)
For views go to the top of Tibidabo hill... There is a café-bar there with the best views of the city, and there is a restaurant nearby also with terrific views. (I think the café was called "El Mirador" but I'm not sure).
Montjuic also has great views, from the fortress ramparts (no restaurants though).
Anyhow, almost anywhere you eat in Barcelona the food is good!
(Don't go to the restaurants around the Sagrada Familia area, they are a bit of a rip off)... |

I think it's called "El Qat Gats" or something, it means "the four cats" in Catalan and is in the old quarter near las Ramblas. It used to be a favorite hangout for Picasso. Awesome awesome food. |

Really nice with a view I can't think of, but there are loads of great restaurants in Barcelona. Depending on your budget you could try Tast d'Argenteria or Senyor Parellada - both serve catalan cuisine, with Tast being more modern and both with really good food and service. |
